Sladefest Day was special this year, special, coz it was dedicated to rAN, who lost his life in November.

As Peter dedicated How Does It Feel to rAN the whole of The Robin 2 was overcome with emotion.

Everybody get up on your seats (The Sladettes) Carol even managed to stay on the chair.

I Wanna See Everybody Get Your Boots On, I Said Stamp Your Feet (Dee's Boots, signed by Don Powell)

This post's title includes a line from "Everyday" which was performed by the star of the day: 11 year old Holly Jewell accompanied by Peter on guitar:

All the usual suspects turned up, some couldn't and were sorely missed, some new faces (some old ones too, who had not been to previous Sladefests and had a great time)

Even Flamin Slade had a new line up from last year, they performed a 32 song set including the entire Slade Alive & Slayed Albums, BRILLIANT WELL DONE LADZ:
